Annual Conference of Peoples Insurance Company Limited
The Annual Conference 2020 of Peoples Insurance Company Limited held recently at Hotel Purbani International Limited, Dhaka.
Mr. Jafar Ahmed Patwari, Chairman of the Company presided over the conference. Past Chairman Al-Haj Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, Al-Haj Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Engr. M. Abu Taher, Mr. Md. Abul Bashar and Engr. M.A. Rashid were present in the conference as a special guest. Present Board of Directors, Mr. Amir Humayan Mahamud Chowdhury, Mr. Md. Ali Hossain, Mr. Hasan Ahmed, Mr. Md. Farhad Ahmed Akanda, Mr. A.K.M. Aminul Mannan, Mr. Sobhit Bikash Barua, FCMA and Mr. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan were also present in the Conference. Besides, Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Sib Sankar Saha, FLMI-I (LOMA), FCA, Adviser Mr. M.H. Khaled, Company Secretary, Mr. Sarfaraz Hossain ACS and high officials were also present in the Conference.
Performance of the branch offices for the year 2019 were reviewed and therefore awarded by the crest accordingly. The Chairman advised to execute properly the Rules & Regulations directed by the Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and also advised to perform the activities of Mujib Borsho with sincerity.

পিপলস্ ইন্স্যুরেন্স কোম্পানী লিমিটেডের ৩৪তম বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা স¤প্রতি ঢাকায় অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। কোম্পানীর চেয়ারম্যান জনাব জাফর আহমেদ পাটোয়ারী উক্ত সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন। উক্ত সভায় বাম দিক থেকে পরিচালক জনাব সাইফুল আরেফিন খালেদ, পরিচালক প্রকৌশলী এম. এ. রশিদ, ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান জনাব মোহাম্মদ আনোয়ারুল হক, ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও জনাব শিব শংকর সাহা এফসিএ, চেয়ারম্যান জনাব জাফর আহমেদ পাটোয়ারী, পরিচালক জনাব মোহাম্মদ আলী হোসেন, উপদেষ্টা জনাব এম. এইচ. খালেদ, পরিচালক জনাব শোভিত বিকাশ বড়–য়া এফসিএমএ, পরিচালক জনাব জামাল উদ্দিন ভূঁইয়া ও প্রাক্তণ চেয়ারম্যান প্রকৌশলী এম. আবু তাহের উক্ত সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
শেয়ারহোল্ডারগণের সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভায় ২০১৮ সালের জন্য ৬% নগদ লভ্যাংশ ঘোষণা করা হয়। বিগত বৎসরে কর্তৃপক্ষ বিচক্ষণতার সাথে কোম্পানীর কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করায় শেয়ারহোল্ডারগণ সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করেন।
