Peoples Insurance Company Limited Declares 12.50% Cash Dividend.

The 37^th Annual General Meeting of Peoples Insurance Company Limited was held over a digital platform on Tuesday, 28 June 2022 maintaining all rules and regulations. The company’s chairman, Jafar Ahmed Patwari presided over the meeting where directors, including the chairmen of all assistive committees of the board of directors, representatives of statutory auditors, scrutinizer, observer from DSE/CSE and above 228 digitally connected shareholders joined the AGM. Adviser, M. H. Khaled, Chief Executive Officer, S. M. Azizul Hossain, Company’s past chairmen & highly officials also attended the AGM. The meeting was continued by Company Secretary, Sk. Md. Sarfaraz Hossain ACS.

Shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year 2021, 12.50 per cent cash dividend for the year 2021, and appointed statutory auditors and compliance professionals for the year 2022 and a number of important issues. The AGM began at 11:30 a.m. on the virtual platform, where shareholders registered on the record date could join, or e-vote or oppose agenda following the instructions previously issued by the company. The shareholders expressed their satisfaction for efficient Management in running the affairs of the Company. Sk. Md. শেয়ারহোল্ডারগণ ২০২১ সালের নিরীক্ষিত আর্থিক বিবরণী, ২০২১ সালের জন্য ১২.৫০ শতাংশ নগদ লভ্যাংশ অনুমোদন করেন। এছাড়াও ২০২২ সালের জন্য সংবিধিবদ্ধ নিরীক্ষক, compliance নিরীক্ষক এবং বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহন ও অনুমোদন করেন। বিগত বৎসরে কর্তৃপক্ষ বিচক্ষণতার সাথে কোম্পানীর কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করায় শেয়ারহোল্ডারগণ সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করেন। শেখ মোঃ সরফরাজ হোসেন, এসিএস কোম্পানী সচিব
