MMG Sarwar was born in a respected Muslim family in the year of 1976 at Gazipur in Bangladesh. He joined on the Board of Directors of Peoples Insurance Company Limited as an independent director in February, 2024.
Mr. MMG Sarwar completed B.Com (Hon’s) and M.Com in Management from University of Dhaka. He is also completed LLB honors from University of Wolverhamton and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from City University, London and called to the Bar as being Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn, UK, by through Michaelmas Term in 2008.
MMG Sarwar has been practicing as an advocate (High Court Division&Appellate Division) in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 2013.Mr.Sarwarattended and completed Appellate Advocacy Workshop under an Advocacy Programs offered by Louisiana State University, the Paul M. Herbert Law Centre, USA and by the U.S. Department of Justice from 13 to 17th November, 2023.
He is the former adjunct Faculty of Law Department, AtishDipankar University, Dhaka (2015-2016).Apart from being, he is the Legal Consultant of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL), Otobi Limited, British Alfa Tobacco Company, Orion Groups, Neel Diganta Resort, 7 One Groups, Ring ID, etc.
He is the Life Registered Graduate of Dhaka University and Reporter of Appellate Division Cases (ADC). He is the member of Supreme Court Bar Association, Dhaka Bar Association, Notre Dame Alumni Association, Bangladesh UK Alumni Network (BUKAN), Barrister Association of Bangladesh and Ex-member of the Ad-hoc Committee of the Election Commission, Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association.

Mr. Md. Farhad Ahmed Akanda was born in 1966 in a respected Muslim family in Khulna at Daulatpur. He is the son of well-known business entrepreneur Late Abdur Razzak Akanda, Ex-Director of Peoples Insurance PLC. He has completed his Bachelor Degree from Commerce Faculty.
Mr. Akanda is the Proprietor of Agraní Jute Corporation & Farhad Enterprise and also the Managing Director of Abdur Razzak Limited, Mitali Food Industries Limited and Gopinathpur Cold Storage Ltd. He was also the Sponsor Director of Jamuna Bank Limíted. He is the Ex. Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA), Shippers Coundil of Bangladesh and Association of Shippers Council (India, Pakistan &
Srilanka).

Dr. JotsnaAra Begum, an experienced and well-known Doctor was born in 1965 at Rangpur. She is the daughter of Late Al-Haj Md. Karim Uddin Varosha, a prominent businessman and industrialist in Bangladesh and Ex. Director of Peoples Insurance Company Limited. Karim Uddin Varosha was also the Ex. Member of the Parliament in Bangladesh.
Dr. Jotsna is a former Associate Professor of Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital, facilitator of different training programs. She is a former Executive Editor of Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital Journal. She obtained MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College and MD (Paediatrics) from Bangladesh Institute of Child Health. She is the organizer and speaker of the National & International Paediactric scientific seminars as well as attending different seminars and workshops.
Dr. Jotsna is the Chairman of R.K. Jute Mills Limited, JTA Food Products Limited, JTA Jute Mills Limited and Varosha Agro Chemicals Limited. She is the Co-Founder of Azizul Hoque Varosha Orphanage and in the light of spreading the education at Haragach, Rangpur, she has been engaging herself as the member of the School Committee of Nabijon Nessa Girl’s High School. She is a former Director of Meghna Insurance Company Ltd. She is the Life Member of Bangladesh Paediatric Association (BPA), Bangladesh Private Practitioners Association (BPPA), Bangladesh Neonatal Forum (BNF), Bangladesh Paediatrics Pulmonology Forum (BPPF), Paediatric Endocrine Society of Bangladesh (PESB) and the Member of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), Commonwealth Association of Health and Disability (COMHAD) & Bangladesh Medical Society of Victoria (BMSV), Australia. She is a former Joint Secretary of PESB and former Executive Member of BPA, BNF and BPPF.
