Mr. Mohammed Abu Kauchar is from a respectable Muslim family of Comilla. He has completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2006 before which he has obtained his Masters of Commerce in Accounting and Bachelor of Law (LLB). He has also completed his Chartered Accountancy course from Asraful Haq & Co. in the year 2002.
Mr. Kauchar is an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) registered with the National Board of Revenue (NBR). He is an associate and Management Team member of Medical College for Woman & Hospital, a project of the Medical & Health Welfare Trust. The board of directors of Peoples Insurance Company Limited has appointed Mr. Kauchar as one of it’s independent director.
